Gucci introduces a revamped U-PLAY watch which now allows you to completely mix and match using a new set of interchangeable bezels and bands. Louis Vuitton is set to enter the fragrance industry. According to reports, perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud has been tapped as the head for the fragrance and will begin working on it starting in January 2012. WWD has the scoop on what we can expect from the scent. “Vuitton has recently been investigating rare, almost-extinct flowers in France that could be used as elements of its fragrance venture.”
Cavalier-Belletrud is known for being the man behind popular scenes such as L’Eau d’Issey, Jean Paul Gaultier Classic, Dior Addict, Poeme by Lancôme, Stella by Stella McCartney and Cinema by Yves Saint Laurent, and many more.
Gulfstream has released a new app called PlaneBook for the iPad. PlaneBook is an electronic document management system, a handy resource for pilots. The app provides pilots easy and quick access to critical flight information and air-craft specific documents, such as the Airplane Flight Manual, Operating Manual, pilot checklist and Quick Reference Handbook.
The PlanBook app also allows pilots to create and add their own content, including checklists, standard operating procedures and other reference materials. In addition, instructional videos for each of Gulfstream’s aircraft have also been included. The Gulfstream PlaneBook App is available now from the Apple App Store.

Mercedes-Benz in partnership with INCC Group will soon be releasing its own fragrance for men. Announced today at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, the fragrance has been composed by Oliver Cresp and is expected to be available at special retailers as early as the first quarter of 2012 as an eau de toilette, after shave, deodorant and shower and body gel.
Karl Lagerfeld has allegedly lowered the price of his New York City apartment. According to Real Estalker, Lagerfeld has dropped the price from $6.5 million to $5.2 million for an apartment which was owned but never occupied by him. The apartment resides at 50 Gramercy Park North spans over 2,151 square feet and has 2-3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
