Monica has been busy these last couple months working on a brand new reality show. The show titled “The Single: Monica” will be based on her journey of her creating her new album while managing the up’s and down’s of a family and friends and other things that come along in life. The show premieres on August 5th at 10PM on Atlanta station Peachtree TV.
Hitting The Streets: Sidekick 2008
The new Sidekick 2008 has been released today and packs a number of new features at a cheaper price. The Sidekick 2008 boosts a 2.0-megapixel camera, 2.6-inch display (400×240), video recording/playback, stereo Bluetooth, spell check, improved browser and IM, custom “shells”, and smaller form factor. The pricing for the phone is $149 with a two-year contract and is available online or at your local T-Mobile store.
Many users are having mixed emotions about the brand new sidekick. Many have complained about the build of the device, saying that it felt cheap. Another complaint, was the 4 buttons on the front of the device were difficult to press. Others have said they would prefer to get a Sidekick LX or an iPhone for $50 bucks more.

Career Moves: Nelly Becomes Owner & Spokesperson Of ZizZazz Energy Drink
Nelly has been making headlines especially this week when it was announced that he would be the next “spokesmodel” for Sean John Underwear. Well that’s not all that’s on Nelly’s plate. The St.Louis star is looking to take another stab in the beverage business. While he’s still the co-owner of energy drink Pimp Juice, Nelly has inked a deal with another energy drink brand called ZizZazz. ZizZazz is an energy drink mix that has been growing rapidly making the company one of the fasting growing companies in the nation. It proceeds to take the market share of other competitors because of it’s unique factor. Instead of the typical energy drink in a can, ZizZazz is an energy drink mix that come in various flavors served from portable single serving straws.
Nelly, was chosen by the company to further expand the brand in new markets. The company felt that Nelly would be the perfect individual to attach to the product to, in hopes rapid growth will continue to develop from the endorsement. Nelly’s responsibilities as owner and spokesperson will require him to be involved in television commercials, radio advertising, and spokeperson duties at media appearances.
Hitting The Streets: BlackBerry Curve Sunset Delayed
The BlackBerry Curve Sunset was set to release today, but due to some unknown problems, the device has been put on hold and is set to release on August 4th. There’s not much of anything different about this BlackBerry, all it happens to be is a different color Blackberry Curve than the ones currently out. The phone will only be heading towards US carrier T-Mobile.
Career Moves: Nelly Becomes “Spokesmodel” For Sean John Underwear
Nelly has been picked by Diddy to become the first “spokesmodel” to appear in upcoming ads for Sean John Underwear. Nelly will be promoting the Fall campaign of Sean John’s Underwear. The underwear line will consist of briefs, boxer briefs, boxers, undershirts, pajamas, and robes. Look out for the line to hit stores in September.
“I have known Nelly for many years and I really admire his work,” says Diddy. “To me, Nelly is the quintessential definition of the Sean John man.”
Hopefully if this is a success, it will most likely increase Sean John’s earnings which are currently estimated to be $525 million annually.
