Career Moves: Russell Simmons Makes Moves To Expand Argyle Culture

by Upscale Swagger on August 4, 2008

Russell Simmons has been taking steps to take his latest clothing line Argyle Culture to the next level. According to DNR, The Hip-Hop Tycoon has just signed a licensing agreement with LF USA, a subsidiary of Li & Fung Limited, to manufacture and distribute the Russell Simmons Argyle Culture brand.

Since the launch of Argyle Culture, Russell has been producing the men’s wear line on his own. It’s been about 4 years since Russell sold Phat Farm to Kellwood Co. Russell’s main reason for selling the women’s fashion brand was to expand, and in that time he created two brands, Argyle Culture, and Atman.

Kellwood Co. bought Phat Farm back in January 2004 for $140 Million.

You can pick up Atman By Russell Simmons at DJPremium.
