A prototype of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport went up for auction today at Monterey with a starting bid of $1.7 million but it quickly jumped up to a nice $2.9 million dollars at the end of the auction. But with the auction premium at 10 percent, it adds up to a hefty $3.19 million.
