by Adancia on August 3, 2010

Maybach has unveiled their new luxurious eyewear collection. This eyewear collection is crafted with the best and high quality materials such as fine wood, leather and natural horn, titanium and 18k carat white, as well as yellow and rose gold.

The eyewear will be manufactured by German IVKO and the lenses by Zeiss. Their eye gear will mirror the style of what Maybach is best known for their cars. The frames will have features such as the maybach logo, metal elements on the arms to echo the door sill panels of the high end saloons, the piano lacquer on the wood and carbon fibre arms that resembles the finish of the trim strips in the interior.

The new eyewear collection is set to release in late October 2010 and will be called the “Ready-to-Wear” collection. It will have eight models of sunglasses in up to nine colors and ten spectacle frames in up to six colors. Buyers will have the option of choosing lightweight, rimless models, metal-rim frames and natural horn-rim frames.

Also, Maybach Eyewear will have an “Individual” collection which will allow buyers to further customize the eyegear. This collection will have 18 carat gold details, with 19 unusual horn tones to pick from, six fine wood/carbon fibre combination and ten lens tints. It will feature individual name lettering in the arm as well.
