The Ritz-Carlton Toronto Opens Its Doors

After five years in the making, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company celebrates the grand opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto. The 53-story hotel features 267 guestrooms including 56 Corner suites, 2 Deluxe Suites and The Ritz-Carlton Suite at over 2,400 square feet. To commemorate the grand opening, the Ritz Carlton held a live stream of the opening ceremony on Facebook.

As you make your first steps inside you’ll find the grand foyer lobby with its striking glass bridge, restaurant, bar, lounge and upscale meeting and conference facilities including the city’s largest luxury ballroom.

A natural light-filled “Urban Sanctuary” can be found on the 5th floor which reveals over 23,000 square feet of space including the pool, professionally-equipped fitness facility, kinesis centre, yoga studio, relaxation area and walk-out, wrap-around terrace. The Ritz-Carlton Spa offers additional pampering with 16 treatment rooms, including 2 Couples Suites, private Ladies and Gentleman’s wet lounges, steam/sauna areas and dry relaxation dens.

The Ritz Carlton Club Lounge located on the 20th floor offers magnificent water views, personal concierge and continuous complimentary food and beverage presentations throughout the day.   • I truely love the Ritz…having them in Toronto is just enough of a tease to make my summer vacation early. I also hope they have the spa there too…I really like their service, they go above and beyond everytime. That makes customer service worth it.
