Nicki Minaj Lands Fragrance Deal

Nicki Minaj is getting her piece of the fragrance market. The multi-platinum selling recording artist announced that she has inked a deal with Give Back Brands to develop and launch her debut fragrance. The deal gives Minaj complete creative control over all product development, packaging and advertising. While Give Back Brands will oversee its development, marketing and distribution.

Give Back Brands is the company behind Justin Bieber’s Someday scent which proved to be an ultimate success breaking sales records within its first three weeks. Paul West, Co-Foudner and CEO says, “Signing Nicki Minaj was a simple decision; her talent and extensive reach present a platform with tremendous global opportunity.”

“I am so excited about my fragrance debut, and am proud to partner with Give Back Brands for such a personal project,” said Nicki Minaj. “I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances; this is yet another extension of my creative expression and I can’t wait to share it with the world. I designed this scent and bottle with my Barbz in mind; I know they will love it!”

The fragrance is slated for a Fall 2012 release.
