Diddy plans to promote the fragrance in a lunch he will hold in Los Angeles and on TV talk shows and link his new fragrance and Obama. Diddy recently told the Wall Street Journal, “When you see Barack Obama, you see a strong, elegant black man and when people see my ad, it’s almost like that’s the trend.“ I personally think it will be interesting to see how far Diddy will go with this. Versace is expanding opening up another flagship boutique in Rome. The Versace boutique opened up this month in Via Veneto, a district known for its upscale hotels and designer stores. This will be one of four Verses stores in Rome and has people wondering what new additions will be available the new lavish boutique. Inside the 200-square meter space boasts a contemporary design which has been arranged by the company’s in-house team of architects. Versace’s architects used fine materials like leather, black marble, and crystal to outfit the boutique. Louis Vuitton is getting more involved incorporating jewelry into the line, launching their own diamond cuts based on their monogram flowers. The cuts which are patented took over three years to develop and each features between between sixty one and seventy seven facets. The Louis Vuitton monogram cut diamonds will be seen on brooches, rings and necklaces.
