After a successful release of The Carter III, Lil Wayne is in the mood to celebrate. The “Greatest Rapper Alive” is out venturing into other things besides music. Weezy has signed on with Milestone Brands and French grower Voirin-Jumeh, to create his own brand of champagne. The line of champagne is called Halo Champagne and made up of four different types of flavors each making it unique to its kind. Halo Champagne made its first appearance in Lil Wayne’s hit single “Lollipop”. Lil Wayne recently spoke with AllHipHop.com and said in a statement, “I’m excited about this venture with Milestone Brands, Champagne is for celebrating. There are so many different business opportunities…I want to take advantage of it all. I’m ready to put my foot in a new door.â€
Lil Wayne will also make his first feature film appearance in “Hurricane Season” alongside with actors Forrest Whitaker, Isaiah Washington, Jackie Long, Taraji P. Henson, and Bow Wow.

Kanye West will be leading the Louis Vuitton brand to riches as he teams up with the company to create a new line of men’s footwear. It was announced at Paris’ Jardins de Bagatelle on Friday that he will be working with Louis Vuitton to create a new line of men’s footwear. Kanye also mentioned his upcoming women’s line which is set to release this fall.
I can already see this becoming a trend. I look forward to see what kind of designs they come up with.
